I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. We want to update you on an ongoing police investigation concerning a series of troubling incidents in the Eastcote area. The Metropolitan Police are currently seeking a suspect in connection with multiple sexual assaults that occurred between January 24 and Mid September, all during daylight hours.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5ft 8” tall, of slim build, very well spoken, and believed to be between 15 and 21 years old. He has been seen carrying a black rucksack and typically wears dark clothing. Victims, aged between 47 and 74, have reported being followed, harassed, and subjected to both verbal and physical sexual abuse.
